Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver engaging and effective science instruction to students. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts through practical and theoretical learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured science lessons in line with the approved curriculum
• Teach scientific concepts using age-appropriate methods, experiments, and demonstrations
• Assess, record, and report students’ progress through tests, assignments, and observations
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment, especially during practical sessions
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations where applicable
• Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials
• Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive student conduct
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and behavior
• Support extracurricular science activities such as clubs, fairs, or competitions
Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related science field
• Teaching qualification (TRCN registration is an advantage)
• 1-3years experience teaching science at the relevant grade level
• Strong knowledge of scientific principles and teaching methodologies
• Good classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to conduct simple experiments and practical lessons
• Passion for teaching and student development

Work Schedule
• Full-time
