Branding, Marketing Strategist & Content Writer

Nigeria Full-time Undisclosed
Job Description
About The Role

Megaweb Digital Solutions is a global development & digital agency. We are now executing a comprehensive rebrand and authority-building strategy

We need one sharp, senior generalist who can do two things simultaneously: build the brand strategy that positions Megaweb as the go-to authority for serious founders globally, and write the copy that powers every channel we operate, LinkedIn posts, website pages, email sequences, case studies, WhatsApp broadcasts, and proposal narratives.

This is not a role for someone who only plans or only writes. We need someone who thinks strategically, writes persuasively, and executes relentlessly — without needing to be hand-held on either side of that brief.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Positioning & Authority Building
• Build and execute a comprehensive brand perception strategy that positions Megaweb as the go-to authority in brand, web, and app development for serious founders globally.
• Develop and maintain a clear, differentiated brand voice and identity guidelines that apply consistently across website, social, outreach, and client-facing documents.
• Audit and strengthen all brand touchpoints — ensuring everything sounds like the world-class agency we are, not the average one we replaced.
• Own the narrative of our ongoing rebrand — the story, the announcement campaign, the teaser content, and the launch-day execution.

Marketing Strategy & Execution
• Build and own a lead generation system — from channel strategy to weekly tracking, reporting, and iteration cycles.
• Run end-to-end multi-channel campaigns: Email marketing (newsletters, cold outreach, nurture flows), WhatsApp broadcasts, LinkedIn content and DM campaigns, and lead magnet funnels.
• Set up and manage a discovery call pipeline — content and outreach that consistently books qualified, high-ticket enquiries.
• Collaborate on paid ad strategy for Meta, LinkedIn, and Google when the budget is activated (Phase 2+).

Content Writing & Copywriting
• Write 4–5 LinkedIn posts per week: authority education, thought leadership, and conversion content. These posts are the single most important top-of-funnel asset we have.
• Write all email sequences: welcome sequence, lead nurture, client onboarding, and re-engagement campaigns.
• Produce 1 long-form SEO blog article per week targeting high-intent search queries from serious founders.
• Write polished case studies from client projects — turning results and data into compelling narrative proof.
• Write WhatsApp broadcast scripts, DM outreach templates, and LinkedIn connection message sequences.
• Write and refine proposal narrative sections — positioning Megaweb as the obvious strategic choice.

Reporting & Optimisation
• Track weekly KPIs: leads generated, email open rates, DM reply rates, booked discovery calls, and content engagement.
• Report findings and propose tested iterations every two weeks.
• Continuously A/B test messaging, formats, and channels to compound conversion rates over time.

Must-Have Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing or brand strategy, preferably for agencies, tech, or SaaS companies.
• A portfolio that proves two things simultaneously: strategic thinking AND strong sales-focused writing. Both must be evident.
• Proven ability to generate inbound leads through content and outreach — not just brand-building for its own sake.
• Deep understanding of persuasion, buyer psychology, and what makes a serious decision-maker take action.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, or similar).
• Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a B2B lead generation channel — content AND direct outreach, not just posting.
• Experience running WhatsApp marketing campaigns or equivalent high-engagement direct messaging channels.
• Exceptional command of English, your words must sell without sounding like they are selling.
• Ability to build and execute a strategy independently, you own the outcome, not just the activity.

Nice To Have
• Experience working with or at a web, app, or digital agency, you understand how the business actually works.
• Familiarity with paid advertising (Meta, LinkedIn, Google) , able to advise on strategy even if not directly managing campaigns yet.
• Knowledge of CRM and pipeline tools: HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Notion.
• Experience with cold email tools: Apollo, Instantly, or Lemlist.
• Portfolio of brand positioning documents, case studies, or marketing strategy frameworks.

Starting Salary: 80-120k{ High Possibility of a significant increase after a month of satisfactory service}
