We are seeking a dedicated and caring Primary School Classroom Teacher to join our team at Durot Private school. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic excellence, good behaviour, and the overall development of pupils.

• *Responsibilities**:
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons in line with the approved primary school curriculum
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching aids to support effective learning
• Assess pupils’ progress through tests, classwork, and assignments and maintain accurate academic records
• Identify pupils’ learning needs and provide appropriate support and guidance
• Maintain a well-managed, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Promote good behaviour, discipline, and moral values among pupils
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians on pupils’ progress and behaviour
• Participate in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities
• Support extracurricular activities and school programmes when required
• *Requirements:**
• NCE or B.Ed in Education or a relevant subject area
• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience in a primary school (an advantage)
• Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and passion for working with young children
• TRCN certification is an added advantage
• Caring, responsible, and professional
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to pupils’ academic and personal development
