About Company: Our client is a renowned integrated drilling, petroleum and facilities engineering services group with over a hundred employees and branches in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Benin.

The Company is seeking to hire an experienced QA/QC Specialist who will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes, with a strong focus on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) within the oil & gas sector.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement in quality systems and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and supervise Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities in line with project and regulatory requirements.

Conduct quality inspections on materials, welding, and fabrication processes.

Ensure compliance with DS-1 standards, ISO 9001:2015, and other applicable industry standards.

Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.

Monitor and audit material control, traceability, and documentation systems.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and audit documentation.

Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure quality deliverables.

Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for compliance reviews.

Provide technical guidance on welding inspection and quality control procedures.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

BSc, B.Tech, B.Eng, or HND in a Science or Engineering discipline.

Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience in NDT inspection, preferably within the oil & gas industry.

Level II or Level III certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a must have.

Strong knowledge of DS-1 standards and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.

Familiarity with welding inspection processes and standards.

Experience with material inspection, quality audits, and documentation control.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and inspection codes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.

Certification in welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) is an added advantage.

Experience working on offshore or onshore oil & gas projects.

Strong understanding of HSE compliance standards.

Proficiency in quality management tools and reporting software.

Compensation: Base Pay ranges BTW N750k â N1m monthly net + other benefits
