Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager / Online Community Manager to oversee project execution while building and nurturing a vibrant online community. This role requires a blend of strong organizational skills, digital engagement expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

The ideal candidate is proactive, people-oriented, and passionate about driving impact through structured project delivery and meaningful community interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management
• Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion
• Develop project timelines, work plans, and deliverables
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Track progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Prepare project reports and performance updates

Community Management
• Build, grow, and manage the organization’s online community (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Develop and implement engagement strategies to increase participation and retention
• Moderate discussions and ensure a positive, respectful environment
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely support to community members
• Plan and execute virtual events, webinars, and engagement campaigns
• Gather feedback and insights to improve community experience

Content & Engagement
• Collaborate with the content team to create relevant and engaging content
• Schedule and manage content across platforms
• Monitor engagement metrics and optimize strategies accordingly

Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Project Management, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in project management and/or community management
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing online communities and digital platforms
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills
• Experience in social impact, nonprofit, or community-driven organizations
• Knowledge of digital marketing and content strategy
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret engagement metrics

Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₦75,000.00 - ₦100,000.00 per month
