## Key Role Overview
This role supports Account Managers in managing renewals across the West Africa region, closing deals with partners and distributors while providing reporting and administrative support. The Inside Sales Representative handles end-to-end sales on smaller opportunities, contributes accurate forecasting, and acts as a stand-in for Account Managers when required.
## What are the Key Responsibilities?
- Develop end user relationships to drive the renewals process within assigned accounts.
- Build relationships with channel partners and distributors relevant to your accounts and opportunities.
- Accurately manage all leads, opportunities and associated data via the CRM tool (Salesforce.com / SFDC) and update all activity within SFDC.
- Develop, learn and communicate specific sales propositions to end user customers.
- Attain all set targets and achieve KPIs.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry and the company's competitive posture.
- Joint strategic and tactical planning with your Account Manager.
- Provide account management tasks such as arranging evaluations, licenses, renewals and quotations.
- Provide accurate forecasting along with your Account Manager and be able to provide a forecast of your business while your Account Manager is absent.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle on smaller opportunities, including management of renewals.
- Take ownership of specific marketing campaigns for your region/accounts, utilize the Telemarketing Team for initial calling, and feedback campaign success to the broader sales and marketing team.
- Serve as a stand-in cover for your Account Manager when they are out of the business, including forecast reviews, QBRs and acting as the first point of contact for your accounts and channel partners.
## What are the Required Qualifications?
- Proven sales track record within an inside sales role; experience in the IT industry (security, networking or hardware) is ideal.
- Motivated self-starter able to deal with ambiguity.
- Excellent communication capabilities.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to exceed targets and KPIs.
- Self-confident with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English.
