Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HR Technician to oversee and manage all human resources activities at our Wudil project location. The successful candidate will serve as the primary HR representative on-site, ensuring efficient HR operations, compliance with company policies, and support to both management and employees.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the focal point for all HR-related matters at the Wudil location;
• Manage employee records, attendance, and timekeeping systems;
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation;
• Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies;
• Support disciplinary processes in line with company procedures;
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations;
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate HR databases;
• Liaise with head office HR team on all HR operations and updates;
• Support payroll inputs, leave management, and employee benefits administration;
• Conduct regular HR visits to work fronts and address employee concerns.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ HR experience, preferably in construction or project environments;
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and manage HR functions in a remote/project location;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
• High level of integrity and professionalism;
• Prior experience working in site-based/project environments;
• Familiarity with timekeeping and workforce management systems;
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
