Job Description
Ubacle Group is seeking a results-oriented Petroleum Engineer to join our Energy division. You will play a critical role in optimizing our hydrocarbon assets and supporting our expansion into integrated energy solutions. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of well operations—ensuring all activities are safe, cost-effective, and environmentally compliant.

Key Responsibilities
• Reservoir Management: Analyze subsurface data to estimate reserves and predict reservoir performance using simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse).
• Production Optimization: Monitor daily production rates, troubleshoot well performance issues, and implement artificial lift or workover strategies to maximize recovery.
• Technical Reporting: Prepare Field Development Plans (FDP) and ensure all technical documentation meets NUPRC (formerly DPR) regulatory standards.
• Economic Analysis: Evaluate the financial viability of new drilling projects and existing asset interventions, balancing technical needs with CAPEX/OPEX constraints.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with geoscientists, field technicians, and the procurement team to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience: 2–7 years of progressive experience in the Oil & Gas industry (Nigerian basin experience preferred).
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in industry software such as Prosper, MBAL, GAP, or Kappa.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Nigerian oil and gas laws and HSE protocols.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, project management, and the ability to communicate technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
