• *JOB SUMMARY – Business Development Officer (Oil & Gas Industry)**
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on client acquisition, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market presence.
• *JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with oil & gas companies, contractors, and stakeholders
• Prepare and submit proposals, tenders, and technical/commercial bids
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends and competitor activities
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver client requirements
• Monitor ongoing projects and ensure client satisfaction
• Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences, and networking events
• Track sales performance and prepare business development reports
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• *REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–6 years experience in business development within the oil & gas industry
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas operations and industry dynamics
• Experience in tendering, bidding, and contract negotiation
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong networking and relationship management abilities
• Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry practices is an advantage
Pay: ₦300,000.00 per hour
