Reports To: Manager - Digital Marketing Brands
Division: Marketing
Mission:
• Ensure consistent and compelling brand presence across MTNN social platforms by creating and publishing content that communicates the brand’s values, campaigns, and key messages.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers by responding to comments, managing conversations, and encouraging meaningful interactions that strengthen brand loyalty.
• Support marketing campaigns by amplifying key messages on social media, driving traffic to digital assets (websites, apps, landing pages), and supporting lead generation or product uptake.
Description:
• Develop and execute a platform-specific social media strategy across MTNN verified accounts on Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube aligned to Net Subscriber Additions, Data Revenue growth, and MoMo adoption targets.
• Drive measurable traffic from social platforms to mtn.ng campaign landing pages and MTN eShop product pages, optimizing click-through rate and conversion performance.
• Conceptualize and implement digital-first engagement initiatives, including challenges, interactive polls, live sessions, and platform native trends tailored to Nigerian audiences
• Lead Always On content strategy that sustains daily engagement around lifestyle, youth culture, entertainment, football, music, and tech conversations relevant to MTN brand positioning.
• Design socially led conversation campaigns that stimulate user-generated content, advocacy, and peer amplification, particularly among Gen Z, Alpha, and youth segments.
• Collaborate with Media and Performance teams to integrate engagement campaigns with paid bursts while maintaining authenticity and platform relevance.
• Develop and maintain structured monthly content calendars aligned to product launches, fibre rollouts, device campaigns, and national promotional drives.
• Coordinate day-to-day management of all MTNN corporate social media accounts, ensuring response consistency, tone discipline, and brand alignment.
• Track and report both commercial impact and brand health indicators, including engagement growth, sentiment movement, and advocacy signals.
Education:
• A first degree in business-related or any social science discipline
• A postgraduate diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline will be an added advantage
• Relevant certification in Digital Marketing
• Fluency in English
Experience:
3-7 Years experience which includes
• 2-3 years of experience in social media management
• Expertise in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.)
• Creative with a keen eye for content trends.
• Strong communication and Presentation skills
