(https://jistafinancial.com/) Profile: Business Development Associate We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Investment Banking Associate to spearhead client outreach and pitch our financial advisory services across global markets. The role involves engaging with corporates, investors, and intermediaries to structure and facilitate fundraising, financial instruments, and trade finance transactions. This position is ideal for a professional who combines strong financial acumen with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
A] Client Acquisition & Outreach
• Identify and engage potential clients including corporates, traders, project sponsors, and investors globally
• Conduct targeted outreach via emails, calls, networking platforms, and industry events
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients B] Pitching & Business Development
• Present and pitch the firm’s services, including:
• Fundraising (debt/equity/private capital)
• Financial instruments (SBLC, DLC, Bank Guarantees)
• Trade finance and structured commodity transactions
• Customize pitch decks and proposals based on client requirements
• Convert leads into mandates and long-term advisory relationships C] Transaction Support
• Assist in structuring financial solutions aligned with client needs
• Coordinate with internal teams, banks, and financial institutions
• Support execution of transactions from onboarding to closure D] Relationship Management
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders
• Develop long-term partnerships with corporates, brokers, and intermediaries
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle E] Market Intelligence
• Monitor global financial markets, trade flows, and funding trends
• Identify emerging opportunities in key regions (Africa, Middle East, etc.)
• Provide strategic insights to enhance client acquisition efforts Position : Full-Time
