Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Auxiliary Nurse located in Owerri.
The Auxiliary
Nurse will assist in the delivery of healthcare services, provide compassionate patient care, and support the clinical team with daily tasks.
Responsibilities include assisting patients with basic care, taking and recording vital signs, aiding in medical procedures as directed by licensed practitioners, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the facility, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role requires collaboration with medical personnel to ensure a safe and efficient delivery of healthcare services.
Qualifications Basic nursing skills such as patient care, taking vital signs, and assisting in medical procedures
Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to foster supportive relationships with patients
Ability to maintain precise and organized patient records and adhere to confidentiality policies
Familiarity with hygiene standards and infection control protocols
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to compassionate care and understanding of mental health needs is a distinct advantage
Diploma or certification in Auxiliary Nursing or a related field
Current registration or license as required by local health authorities
