Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Bank Branch Manager to lead their branch in Owerri, Imo, NG . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all branch operations, driving business development, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will manage a team of banking professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales targets, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans to grow the branch's deposit and loan portfolios, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients and the local community. You will ensure the branch adheres to all banking policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including KYC and AML regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of banking products and services, financial markets, and risk management principles. Excellent leadership, sales, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proven experience in managing a retail banking branch or a significant section thereof is required. This role demands strong financial acumen, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to effectively manage staff performance and development.
