Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, leave schedules, and attendance logs.
• Develop and enforce HR policies, update the employee handbook, and manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
• Organise and document staff training programs, performance reviews, and appraisal processes.
• Act as the first point of contact for staff welfare issues, conflict resolution, and general workplace support.
• Oversee all office administrative tasks, including meticulous documentation, efficient filing systems, managing correspondence, and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and coordinate facility management for the office/store, ensuring a conducive work environment.
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
• Track and ensure timely compliance with all relevant business operating licenses and registrations with regulatory bodies.
• Support the Managing Director and executive team with calendar management, travel bookings, and logistics coordination.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or any other related course.
• Professional HR certification membership to an HR body, e.g. CIPM, PHRI, etc., or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience within the FMCG, retail, beauty, or healthcare sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in managing employees and compliance functions in an organisation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactiveness and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Strong understanding of human resources regulations and legal requirements.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications and HRIS.
• Ability to lead and manage employees effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of legal principles and applicability.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Strong understanding of ethics and integrity in handling confidential information.
