Channel Accounting Executive - Shop Job at Airtel Nigeria

About the Role
• The purpose of the role is to primarily account for proper shop accounting and control management
Responsibilities
Monthly Reporting:
• Ensure that monthly Group closure reporting is done without error in line with the SLA.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of the month-end journals in line with the group calendar.
Shop Reconciliations:
• Ensure daily reconciliation of ERC pretup to the billing system (SnD).
• Ensure daily 3-way reconciliation of showrooms (Showroom invoice vs Receipt vs Value in Bank reconciliation)
• Ensure 100% reconciliation of showroom deal code accounts
Shop Control:
• Ensure clearance of the ERC purse within 2 hours of receipt of approval from Revenue Assurance.
• Daily recycling of MDSA stock within 1 hour of receipt of approval from Revenue Assurance.
• Ensure prompt ERC reversal request upon receipt from RA within 1 hour of receipt.
• Ensure that all cheques deposited at the shops are lodged and the value given.
Accounting/GL Hygiene:
• Ensures bi-weekly reconciliation of SnD sales to GL
• Ensure daily reconciliation of activation to sales
• Ensure daily reconciliation of SnD vs ASI for shop accounts
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
• First degree in a related field
• A professional qualification like ICAN is required
Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG & Telecoms
• In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry is an added advantage
• Strong customer - centric skills
• Strong Analytical skills & MS Excel proficiency.
