RemitAssure (powered by Smartitude Solutions) is a regulated financial services company operating a cross-border payments platform — combining competitive FX pricing, deep liquidity access, and a digital-first infrastructure to support high-volume international payments for businesses, traders, and global operators. From our Lagos base, we drive cross-border settlement for individuals, the Nigerian diaspora, exporters, and business clients across multiple corridors.
Role Description
We're hiring an
HR & Administration Officer
to be the steady hand behind our growing Lagos team. None of what we build works without the people, culture, and day-to-day operations that hold the office together — that's where you come in.
You'll own:
• Recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for employees and contractors
• Personnel records, contracts, and compliance documentation
• First-line employee relations — the person people come to with questions, issues, and ideas
• Compliance with Nigerian employment and labour law
• Office logistics, equipment, supplies, and vendor relationships
• Payroll data prep, leave tracking, and performance review coordination
• Building a workplace culture people genuinely want to be part of
The deal:
• Full-time, Lagos-based — hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 remote)
• Reports directly to the CEO

Qualifications
5+ years in HR and office administration, ideally in fast-paced or startup environments
Solid grounding in Nigerian labour laws and employee documentation
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong discretion — you handle sensitive matters with professionalism
Organised, proactive, and comfortable juggling priorities
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office and digital HR tools proficiency
Fintech or financial services exposure (a plus, not a must)
