Job Description • The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization’s financial health through effective planning, compliance, and control processes.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date company financial records.
• Prepare, process, and manage payroll, ensuring timely salary payments and correct statutory deductions.
• Review and clean financial data (account scrubbing) to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, including bank and ledger reconciliation.
• Handle taxation processes, including preparation and filing of tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Manage PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and ensure proper remittance to relevant authorities.
• Develop and monitor budgets to support organizational financial planning.
• Conduct financial forecasting and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support internal controls and assist in audit processes.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2-3 years experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Work Environment:
• Office-based role with standard working hours.
• May require extended hours during audits or financial reporting periods.
