Community Relations Coordinator Location: Port Harcourt Recruitment by VIVANDI Management Services Ltd We are seeking a proactive and experienced Community Relations Coordinator to support stakeholder engagement within a highly sensitive Niger Delta operating environment.
This role is critical in maintaining strong community relationships, enabling operational continuity, and sustaining the company’s Social License to Operate (SLTO).
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage proactive relationships with host communities and key stakeholders • Support HCDTs and community institutions in executing social investment programmes • Coordinate NGOs and oversee implementation under GMoU frameworks • Ensure alignment of CR and Social Investment activities with company policies and HSSE-SP Control Framework • Maintain and manage stakeholder data, power maps, and community profiles • Facilitate contractor entry and secure Community Testimonies (CTS) for operations • Ensure compliance with ECC requirements and community payment policies • Manage grievances and ensure prompt issue resolution through established mechanisms • Support community content delivery in line with Nigerian Content Act Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Community Relations, CSR, or stakeholder engagement roles • Experience in Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, or Development Sector strongly preferred • Strong understanding of Niger Delta socio-political dynamics • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and difficult conversations • Experience working with SP/SI frameworks and community development structures • Strong influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills • High integrity with strong ethics and compliance mindset Why Join:
