Role Description
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Consultant to join our team.
In this role, you will develop and execute marketing campaigns, craft compelling content, manage communication strategies, and analyze key performance metrics. You will collaborate with internal teams to amplify Ije’s mission and engage with stakeholders to strengthen brand visibility and public image.
You must be a results-driven, dynamic Marketing & Communications professional, either an individual consultant or a marketing agency, to manage and execute our marketing activities.
You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and hands-on execution to drive our brand narrative and conversion funnels forward.
Requirements
• Experience: Proven track record in mid-level marketing roles with a strong portfolio of graphic design work.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager and Email Marketing platforms.
• Competency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro).
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to map customer funnels and translate data into optimization recommendations.
• Communication: Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to adopt a "founder-persona" voice.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Content Marketing strategies and execution
• Strong command of Writing, Editing, and Creative Content Creation
• Proficiency in Branding, Public Relations, and Communications
• Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance and provide actionable insights
• Experience with Social Media Management and Strategy
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Understanding of global education markets and/or experience working in education-focused organizations is a plus
