• Strategically reposition the HR framework of the company to accommodate fresh challenges, change managementand drive the next growth plan of the company.
• Regularly conduct manning and competence gap analysis to allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate match amongst personnel.
• Develop a robust recruitment and selection procedures focusing on appointment /confirmation /termination / resignation processes.
• Review, amend and craft job descriptions and qualifications required for job positions.
• Encourage and develop employee communications and provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job function, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
• Plan and conduct new employee orientation and all on-boarding activities.
• Evaluate the global HR practices of the company to ensure alignment with local and international best practices.
• Ensure compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining historical HR records through an effective filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
• Ensure proper management of staff resources and maintenance of occupational health safety.
• Advise staff on all HR policy matters and recommend needed changes.
• Create a robust Performance Management system by setting goals and KPIs with relevant managers, and coordinate conducting evaluations and appraisals of all staff on agreed dates and schedules.
• Work with accounts and senior management to craft budgets and financial projections for the year.
• Ensure effective asset management/maintenance and allocation to various outlets and offices.
• Map out clear HR programs and training schedules for effective capacity building.
Qualifications
• HND / B.Sc / BA, MBA / M.Sc Degree
• HR certifications memberships are mandatory.
Requirements:
• Candidate must be passionate about HR andPeople-Management
• He/She must have worked or is currently working in a reputable company preferably, the banking or telecoms industryas Human Resources Manager
• A minimum of 15 years HR work experience 10of which must be in a senior management position.
• Prior use of HR Management software is compulsory
