Job Description
Bizthom is an AI-powered e-commerce platform built for African businesses. With Bizthom, businesses launch stores that uses AI and selling psychology to make people buy — negotiate button, voice note follow-ups, live social proof, automated WhatsApp sales agent, etc
This is the first marketing hire.
What you'll actually be doing:
→ Writing copy that sells — landing pages, emails, ad scripts, social posts. Not "content calendars." Words that make people pull out their card.
→ Running and optimizing paid ads (Meta, TikTok). You've done this before with your own money or someone else's. You know what a converting ad looks like.
→ Managing product launches, webinars, and campaigns end-to-end. Not just planning. Executing.
→ Turning product features into stories people care about.
→ Working directly with the founder. No layers. No managers. You talk to me, I talk to you.
Who this is for
→ You've marketed a product before — not just managed social media. There's a difference.
→ You understand Nigerian buyers. You know why "add to cart" doesn't work here and what does.
→ You can write. Not "create content." Write. Headlines, hooks, emails, scripts. If your writing doesn't make people stop scrolling, this isn't the role.
→ You're comfortable in a startup that moves fast and breaks things. We don't have SOPs yet. We have a product, a founder, and an audience of 100K+ that needs to be activated.
→ You've worked with or understand e-commerce, SaaS, or digital products.
What this is NOT
→ This is not a social media manager role. We're not looking for someone to post quotes and reels on a schedule.
→ This is not strategy-only. You will execute. Every day.
→ This is not remote-and-chill. The pace is fast. The standards are high. The founder is hands-on.
Compensation: ₦300,000/month + performance bonuses tied to growth.
Location: Remote (Nigeria-based preferred). Must overlap with WAT working hours.
