Job Title: ESS Corporate Sales Staff
Location: Lagos, Nigeria (with travel within Lagos environs and potential for broader coverage)

Reports to: Solar Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven ESS Corporate Sales Staff to focus primarily on corporate and institutional clients while supporting residential and other segments. In this role, you will drive lead generation, build lasting client relationships, close high-value deals, and contribute to revenue growth in the booming solar and ESS market. Reporting directly to the Solar Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our corporate footprint across Lagos and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets in the corporate sector.
• Generate high-quality leads for residential, businesses, hotels, hospitals, industries, and especially corporate organizations through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
• Drive consistent revenue increase by identifying opportunities, closing sales, and upselling ESS and solar solutions.
• Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships, repeat business, and referrals.
• Act as a proactive problem solver, addressing client concerns, overcoming objections, and delivering tailored solutions.
• Prepare accurate reporting, documentation, sales forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and solar/ESS product advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with technical teams to explain complex PV systems, energy storage, and renewable solutions in simple, customer-friendly terms.
Requirements & Qualifications
• 3–7 years of proven experience in corporate sales, preferably in solar energy, renewable energy, power solutions, or related B2B sectors.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and building quality corporate accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos environs and ability to navigate the local business landscape effectively.
• Solid understanding of solar products, photovoltaic (PV) systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and renewable energy solutions (or strong willingness and ability to learn quickly).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and developing strategic sales approaches.
• Good command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and proposals.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational abilities.
• Capability to interpret technical information and simplify it for non-technical clients.
