Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior Accountant based in Ikorodu.
The Junior
Accountant will oversee daily financial transactions, including expense tracking, account reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves supporting tax filings, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining organized financial records. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes is also a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks or similar systems
Proven skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and financial reporting
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements in Nigeria is an advantage
