Job Description
ABOUT SHECLUDED

Shecluded is Nigeria's leading female-focused fintech and business development organization, dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs through access to finance, business advisory, capacity-building programmes, and a growing community of mission-aligned professionals. We are building the infrastructure for women to start, grow, and scale businesses across Nigeria and beyond. As we scale our commercial operations toward our ₦1.2B revenue target, we are seeking exceptional professionals to join our team and drive our next phase of growth.

ROLE OVERVIEW The Finance Manager will be the custodian of Shecluded's financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance excellence. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and the development of the financial infrastructure required to support Shecluded's growth to ₦1.2B in annual revenue. You will work closely with the MD, department heads, and external auditors to ensure the organisation is financially sound, audit-ready, and positioned for institutional funding and investor confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; produce insightful management accounts with revenue variance analysis, expense tracking, and key financial ratios for SMT and Board review.

Revenue Tracking & Dashboard: Own the monthly revenue dashboard — tracking actuals vs. targets across all revenue streams (loan interest, processing fees, Hubspace, training, advisory, grants) with RAG status reporting at every SMT meeting.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and maintain rolling financial forecasts; model financial scenarios for new revenue streams, expansion plans, and capital requirements.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash flow, fund disbursements, loan book liquidity, and ensure sufficient capital is available to meet disbursement commitments and operational obligations.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with FIRS, CAC, LIRS, and all applicable regulatory requirements; manage timely filing of VAT, WHT, CIT, and all statutory obligations.

Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate and manage external audit processes (including PwC); implement and monitor robust internal controls, financial policies, and procedures that safeguard organisational assets.

Loan Book Financial Oversight: Work closely with Credit & Recovery to maintain accurate loan schedules, interest income reconciliation, PAR provisioning, and portfolio financial reporting.

Vendor & Payroll Management: Oversee vendor onboarding, payment processing, expense approvals, and monthly payroll — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation for all transactions.

Team Development: Manage and develop the Accounts team; build financial capacity within the organisation and implement systems and tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.
