Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Lagos. This full-time, on-site role involves providing professional care to patients, assisting in infertility treatments, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and supporting doctors in performing procedures. The Registered Nurse will also ensure proper documentation and compliance with clinical protocols, contributing to overall patient satisfaction and health outcomes.
The Nurse will support High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) procedures by providing clinical, nursing, and patient-care support before, during, and after treatments. The role requires strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and adherence to clinical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for HIFU procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and patient education
• Assist physicians during HIFU treatments
• Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Provide post-procedure care, instructions, and follow-up support
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records and treatment notes
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards in the treatment area
• Handle and care for HIFU equipment and consumables appropriately
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients
• Escalate clinical concerns or complications promptly to the attending physician
• Comply with all clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and hospital policies
Requirements & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience
• Experience in theatre, procedure-based units, radiology, fertility, or women’s health is an added advantage
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to learn and adapt to specialized HIFU procedures
