Role Brief:
We are hiring a Construction Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project execution,
ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. The role
requires extensive experience in project planning, team coordination, and quality control to
successfully deliver large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring
expertise in managing resources, assessing project risks, and upholding safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budget allocations, and resource needs.
• Prepare feasibility studies and site evaluations to assess potential project impacts and requirements.
Budgeting and Cost Management
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources.
• Track expenses and implement cost-control measures to maintain budget adherence.
• Oversee procurement processes, selecting vendors and suppliers to optimize project spending.
Site Management and Team Coordination
• Coordinate on-site activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and logistics.
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.
Quality and Compliance Assurance
• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Risk Management and Reporting
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation and report progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvement areas for future projects.
Requirements
• Proven experience in construction project management, with a track record of overseeing large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects; experience with villa projects is an added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, with a preference for Architecture; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent budgeting and cost-control abilities, with experience in vendor management.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Leadership and communication skills to effectively manage on-site teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Attention to detail, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Pay: ₦1,500,000.00 - ₦2,000,000.00 per year
