Nimbus Media Limited is an outdoor media and advertising company that specializes in brand visibility, engagement, and discovery through digital out-of-home advertising platforms in high-traffic locations such as shopping malls and superstores across Nigeria. The company also delivers brand activations and marketing services to connect brands effectively with target audiences.
ROLE PURPOSE The Media Sales Executive is a full-cycle sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth through both new client acquisition and ongoing account management. This role combines the hunter instinct needed to prospect and close new business with the relationship-driven approach required to retain, grow, and maximize existing client accounts. The ideal candidate seamlessly moves between winning new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones - ensuring Nimbus Media consistently delivers value across the entire client lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
· Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, partnerships, and industry events.

· Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline at a minimum of 3× monthly revenue target.

· Research, qualify, and prioritize prospects based on market fit and revenue potential.

2. Discovery & Sales Presentations

· Conduct discovery meetings to understand prospect and client needs, objectives, and budgets.

· Present Nimbus Media's capabilities and tailor solutions to specific client requirements.

· Deliver compelling, insight-led sales presentations across new and existing accounts.

3. Proposal Preparation, Negotiation & Closing

· Prepare proposals and pricing for both new and renewal campaigns (in collaboration with Sales Operations Support).

· Negotiate commercial terms and close deals, securing signed commitments and agreements.

· Present upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.

4. Client Onboarding & Relationship Management

· Own the full client journey - from warm handoff after new business close through to long-term account stewardship.

· Conduct structured onboarding for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition into campaign execution.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for designated accounts, building trusted advisor relationships.

· Conduct quarterly business reviews and check-ins to understand evolving client needs and objectives.

5. Campaign Execution & Oversight

· Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure timely and accurate campaign deployment.

· Monitor live campaigns throughout execution and resolve any issues proactively.

· Send proof of exposure and campaign performance updates to clients as required.

· Work with Finance on invoicing, payment terms, and collections follow-up.

6. Account Growth & Retention

· Develop and implement account growth strategies to increase share of wallet with key clients.

· Proactively identify renewal opportunities and initiate conversations ahead of contract expiry.

· Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction across all managed accounts.

· Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly to protect retention.

7. Market Intelligence

· Track competitor activity, pricing, industry trends, and emerging OOH/DOOH opportunities.

· Build and maintain strong industry relationships and referral networks to support pipeline development.

· Share market insights with internal teams to support product and commercial strategy.

8. CRM & Pipeline Management

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Zoho CRM, including all client interactions, deal stages, and account health data.

· Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account performance updates to the Head of Revenue.

· Track campaign performance metrics and client satisfaction scores across managed accounts.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

The following KPIs apply across both new business and account management activities:

• Achieve at least 90% of individual monthly and quarterly revenue targets (new business + renewals + upsells) as set by the Head of Revenue.

• Conduct a minimum of 15 client meetings and presentations per month.

• Submit a minimum of 10 proposals per month.

• Maintain a proposal close rate of ≥ 30% per month.

• Achieve a client account renewal rate of ≥ 90% per quarter.

• Conduct quarterly business reviews with 100% of assigned accounts.
