• We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to support daily financial operations.
• The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles, be organized, and able to handle financial records with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
• Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation of all financial activities
• Support bank reconciliations and track company accounts
• Assist in payroll preparation and expense tracking
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents (physical and digital)
• Support month-end and basic financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic financial controls.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (NYSC experience can count)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Basic understanding of tax and statutory deductions.
