Role Description The Head of Finance - MFB and Fintech role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Lekki, with some work-from-home flexibility.
Key responsibilities include overseeing financial reporting, preparing and analyzing financial statements, planning and managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role also involves providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and development while collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals. 2 DAYS OFFICE AND 3 DAYS REMOTE
Qualifications
Proficient in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and executing Financial Reporting
Strong skills in Budgeting, Financial Planning, and Resource Management
Excellent Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Comprehensive knowledge of Finance principles, practices, and industry regulations
Proven experience in leadership roles within finance, particularly in MFB and/or fintech sectors
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model and manage multiple priorities efficiently
Familiarity with financial technology trends and tools is an advantage
