Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Accountant to join our team in Abuja. This hybrid role combines strong accounting capability with client relationship management, ensuring accurate financial operations while supporting customer engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation in line with accounting standards.
· Prepare and post journal entries, manage reconciliations, and support month‑end and year‑end close.
· Review invoices, track receivables, and ensure timely payment follow‑up.
· Manage payables, vendor reconciliations, and payment scheduling.
· Prepare financial reports, cashflow summaries, and management accounts.
· Use accounting software to record transactions, run reports, and maintain audit‑ready records.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal financial controls.
· Serve as a professional point of contact for assigned client accounts and regulatory bodies.
· Resolve invoice related queries in collaboration with internal teams.
· Manage and control the organisation’s internal expense workflow, including verification, approval, and disbursement activities.
Qualification and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (ICAN certification is beneficial but not mandatory).
· Hands‑on experience using accounting software packages (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or similar).
· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial record‑keeping.
· Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
· High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office productivity tools.
