Registered Nurse (RN)

Role Summary



• Provide compassionate nursing care in our general medical and surgical wards.

• You will assess patient needs, administer medications, and promote recovery through evidence-based practice.



Key Responsibilities



• Perform patient assessments and document findings electronically and physically.

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care.

• Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.



Qualifications & Examinations



• Bachelor of Nursing Science B.NSc. or Higher National Diploma HND in Nursing

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria NMCN, including successful indexing and examination via the NMCN portal

• Minimum 1 year post-NYSC experience in a hospital setting.



Required Certification & Licensing:



• Valid NMCN practising licence renewed every 2 years

• Completion of NMCN Professional Qualifying Examination
