Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Ikeja. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in financial record-keeping, preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The role also involves collaborating with team members to analyze financial data and assist in annual budgeting processes.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Accounting and Bookkeeping, including financial record management and reconciliation of accounts
• Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and preparation of financial statements
• Strong analytical and numerical skills for analyzing financial data and providing insights
• Proficiency in Accounting Software and tools, such as QuickBooks or other relevant platforms
• Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with team members
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required
• Previous experience in a similar entry-level accounting role is an advantage
• An understanding of Nigeria's applicable financial regulations and standards is beneficial
