We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Accountant Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Oversight across Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Surulere & Abuja branches) Employment Type: Full-time Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday Industry: Retail / Home & Lifestyle About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, statutory compliance, payroll management, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, and providing management with timely financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities Manage daily financial operations and transaction processing across all business locations. Prepare financial reports, management accounts, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports. Reconcile bank accounts, invoices, petty cash, and financial records.

Oversee payroll processing, PAYE, pension remittance, NHF, HMO reconciliations, and statutory compliance. Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation reports. Manage accounts receivable and payable processes. Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders. Support annual audit processes and statutory reporting.

Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounts & Administration Officer. Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required. Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, payroll administration, and statutory compliance. Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-branch operations is an added advantage.
