Job Summary
As a Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to develop their skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate daily and monthly financial records across all brands.
• Reconcile transactions, manage inflows/outflows, and ensure financial control.
• Prepare and interpret monthly management reports to guide decisions.
• Handle all tax and regulatory compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, etc).
• Develop and monitor budgets, cashflows, and forecasts.
• Detect and prevent fraud, enforce accountability, and recommend improvements.
• Provide financial insights to support pricing, spending, and investment choices.
Qualifications
A. HND/Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
B. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.).
C. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
D. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling financial information.
E. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
