Role Description:
The Human Resources Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations to support the firm’s workforce and ensure smooth HR processes. This full-time, on-site role, based in Lagos State, Nigeria, will manage HR policies and procedures, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, maintain accurate employee records, and oversee payroll inputs and benefits administration. The role will handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management support, and disciplinary processes in line with company guidelines and local labor laws.
The HR Operations Manager will also analyze HR data, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaboration with leadership and other departments to align HR initiatives with business objectives is a key aspect of this position.
Qualifications:
• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in HR Operations, including process implementation, HR administration, and HR systems or HRIS tools.
• Proven ability to develop, interpret, and enforce HR Policies in alignment with organizational goals and local labor regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, performance management support, and grievance handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field; professional HR certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations, particularly as they apply within Lagos State.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital HR tools; experience in a consulting or service-oriented environment is a plus.
