Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Establishing and managing all necessary databases for Production, Disaster Recovery, development, and testing purposes.
• Continuously optimizing database instances for peak performance.
• Strategizing and implementing backup and recovery procedures for databases.
• Configuring and maintaining real-time data replication from Production to the Disaster Recovery (DR) environment.
• Overseeing and advising on licensing matters, ensuring strict adherence to Oracle License agreements.
• Proactively monitoring Production Databases across diverse database platforms.
• Collaborating with system administrators to plan and provision database capacity to meet the Bank’s requirements.
• Executing failover procedures for databases when necessary for disaster recovery purposes.
• Ensuring adequate storage space availability to accommodate database growth.
Qualifications
• First Degree
Experience
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar or related position.
• Professional certification in OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) and ITIL v3 is required.
