Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Shortlist and interview candidates based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
• Contact references and conduct employment checks.
• Organize new hire orientation, onboarding, and training programs.
• Update job descriptions and hiring plans as needed.
Employee Relations & HR Administration
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and benefits.
• Manage employee leave processes (annual, maternity/paternity, etc.).
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of employee files and correspondence.
• Support disciplinary and grievance processes in line with HR policies and employment law.
• Draft and manage employment documentation (e.g., contracts, offer letters, resignation letters).
HR Operations & Compliance
• Oversee HR processes, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and policy adherence.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Payroll to maintain accurate and updated employee records.
• Maintain and update HR templates and documentation systems.
Reporting & Data Management
• Prepare HR-related reports (e.g., payroll data, absenteeism, staff lists).
• Ensure timely responses to internal and external HR information requests.
• Maintain an organized HR filing system and manage HR data input.
Training & Development
• Coordinate staff development programs and assist in the delivery of relevant training.
• Support performance and development reviews and track progress.
Requirements:
• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
