Job Description
Our client a Chemical Distribution company, is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Executive to join their team in Nigeria. This role is integral in driving sales growth in the industrial raw materials and products sector.

Responsibilities


• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales goals and expand market share.

• Identify, target, and build strong relationships with new and existing customers within the industrial raw materials and products space.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing solutions to meet their business needs and offering exceptional customer service.

• Maintain and update customer and sales records using CRM tools, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to ensure product availability and on-time delivery, to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends within the industry.

• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market strategies to leadership.

• Travel throughout the territory to meet clients, attend networking events, and participate in industry-related opportunities, to grow the company's presence in Nigeria.

• Identify and meet with prospective clients to understand their requirements and present tailored solutions.

• Conduct market visits to assess competitors, gather insights, and explore new business opportunities.

• Manage a portfolio of clients by maintaining regular communication and driving incremental sales.

• Monitor orders, resolve client issues, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

• Participate in sales team meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to strategy refinement.


Qualifications


• Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, preferably in the industrial raw materials or products sector.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms for tracking sales activities and reporting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with diverse clients.

• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.

• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of industrial product applications, supply chain processes, and key market drivers in Nigeria is highly desirable.

• Proactiveness, self-motivation, and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
