Job Title: HR Compliance Manager
Location: Ajah, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with applicable labor laws and organizational requirements.

• Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise management on compliance implications.

• Conduct regular HR compliance audits, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with employment contracts, statutory obligations, employee documentation, and record retention requirements.

• Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, and other departments on compliance-related matters.

• Lead investigations into HR compliance issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.

• Support regulatory inspections, external audits, and compliance reporting.

• Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies, ethics, workplace conduct, and compliance requirements.

• Monitor compliance with onboarding, offboarding, performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee relations practices.

• Track HR compliance metrics and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information in accordance with applicable data privacy regulations.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in HR compliance or employee relations.
