Reports to: Founder & Creative Director

About us

IBILE is a contemporary West African dining and cultural hospitality brand based in Dublin — premium pop-up tasting menus, festival activations, corporate catering, and private dining. With 25+ pop-ups, 4,000+ guests served, and coverage in the Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, and Hot Press, we're building toward a permanent Dublin flagship.

We sit at the intersection of food, art, sound, and culture — and we need someone who can carry that voice across every channel.

The role

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing & Communications Manager to own IBILE's owned marketing channels — social media, email, and design. This is a builder's role for someone who can own our Marketing strategy, run our socail platforms, build a Mailchimp campaign, and design a festival flyer, all while keeping our brand voice consistent everywhere it shows up.

You'll be the engine room of our content and communications — translating IBILE's premium, culture-forward identity into consistent, scroll-stopping output, and helping plan the campaigns behind it.

Key responsibilities Social media

• Own the content calendar and post consistently across Instagram (and supporting channels)

• Write captions in IBILE's distinct voice

• Put together simple short-form video (Reels, Stories) from footage captured at pop-ups, festivals, and shoots (working from material supplied by the on-the-ground team in Ireland)

• Manage community: comments, DMs, story interactions, engagement

• Track follower growth, reach, and engagement; report monthly

Email marketing (Mailchimp)

• Plan, build, and schedule email campaigns (event announcements, menu drops, newsletters, guest re-engagement)

• Manage and segment audience lists; maintain list hygiene and GDPR compliance

• Build automations (welcome flows, post-event follow-ups, booking and enquiry nurture)

• Report on open rates, click rates, and conversions, and iterate accordingly

Graphic design & flyers

• Design flyers, event graphics, menus, and promotional assets

• Produce decks and collateral for corporate catering and private dining

• Keep everything on-brand across fonts, colours, and layout

Brand communications & coordination

• Support press and partnership communications as needed

• Keep brand messaging consistent across all touchpoints

• Help plan and coordinate marketing campaigns and the content calendar around events, launches, and promotions

• Coordinate with the founder, chefs, photographers, the paid ads specialist (briefing creative for paid), and external collaborators

What you'll bring

Essential

• 2–3+ years in a marketing, social media, content, or communications role (agency or in-house)

• Proven hands-on experience with Instagram/Tiktok/youtube shorts/ content creation and growth

• Confident with Mailchimp (or comparable: Klaviyo, Brevo)

• Graphic design ability (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite)

• Comfortable creating simple short-form video (Reels) for social

• Excellent written English and a feel for brand voice

• Organised self-starter who can own multiple channels and hit deadlines

Desirable

• Experience in food, hospitality, events, or lifestyle brands

• Stronger video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar) a plus

• Able to coordinate remotely with an on-the-ground team for content capture in Ireland

• Interest in West African food, culture, and the arts

• Basic analytics fluency (Meta Insights, GA, Mailchimp reporting)

Why join us

• Shape the voice of a fast-growing, culture-forward hospitality brand at an early, formative stage

• Real creative ownership and variety — no two weeks look the same

• Be part of building toward a permanent flagship

• Work directly with the founder in a close, collaborative team

• Access to vibrant events, festivals, and creative collaborations

How to apply

Send the following to info@ibilerestaurants.com:

• A short note on why this role fits you
