Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Banker role based in Ibadan. The Banker will manage customer accounts, process deposits and withdrawals, and support customers with opening and maintaining savings, current, and other ethical banking products.
The role includes providing financial advisory services, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate solutions that align with the bank’s non-interest principles. The Banker will ensure accurate transaction processing, maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and support branch operations, including documentation, reporting, and cash management. The role also involves delivering a high-quality customer experience, resolving inquiries, and contributing to sales and relationship-building initiatives within the branch.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
• Candidates should possess solid numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for handling transactions, account reviews, and basic financial assessments.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of banking operations, ethical/non-interest financial products, and regulatory compliance practices.
• Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer requests, documentation, and daily operational tasks efficiently.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with basic computer applications, banking software, and digital tools for data entry, reporting, and customer record management.
• Relevant academic qualification, such as a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in retail banking, customer-facing financial services, or similar roles is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical banking principles.
