CSB is a fast-growing short-term rental platform redefining the shortlet experience across Africa. We connect property owners with guests seeking quality, reliable accommodations, backed by a seamless booking experience and high service standards. We're building something ambitious, and we need sharp, driven people to help us get there.

The Role

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Lead who knows the short-term rental landscape inside out. You'll own growth on both sides of our marketplace , attracting quality property listings and driving guest bookings, while building a brand that stands apart in a competitive industry.

This is a high-impact role with real ownership. You'll set strategy, run campaigns, and work across the full marketing funnel.

What You'll Do
Growth & Acquisition

• Develop and execute marketing strategies that grow both supply (hosts) and demand (guests) simultaneously

• Run multi-channel campaigns to attract new property listings to the CSB platform

• Drive guest acquisition through digital marketing, content, and performance campaigns

• Build and manage referral programs and loyalty initiatives to fuel organic growth

Performance Marketing

• Manage paid advertising across Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok with a clear focus on keeping acquisition costs low and maximising the long-term value of every user gained

• Optimize platform presence through SEO and conversion rate improvement

• Track, report on, and continuously improve campaign performance

Brand & Content

• Develop CSB's brand voice and differentiate us from Airbnb and Booking.com,

• Create compelling content, host success stories, guest testimonials, platform updates

• Monitor competitor strategies and identify gaps we can move into

Partnerships & Community

• Build relationships with property management companies and individual hosts

• Coordinate host onboarding, guest engagement, and reactivation email campaigns

• Develop host-facing programs that improve retention and platform loyalty

Analytics

• Analyze core marketplace metrics: booking rates, host retention, guest satisfaction

• Use data to inform decisions and refine campaigns continuously

What We're Looking For
Required

• 1+ year of marketing experience in a marketplace platform, shortlet/hospitality tech, or related industry

• Solid grasp of two-sided marketplace dynamics, you understand the tension between supply and demand

• Familiarity with the short-term rental competitive landscape (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO)

• Proven track record of scaling user acquisition with measurable ROI

• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation

• Strong analytical thinking paired with clear, compelling communication

Preferred

• Experience marketing a tech platform or SaaS product

• Knowledge of marketplace KPIs

• Background in community building or host/partner relations

• Understanding of payment systems and trust & safety in marketplace contexts

• Familiarity with property management systems

• Experience with AI-driven marketing tools, automation, or data personalization
