Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director
Department: Corporate Services (HR & Administration)
Position Type: Full-Time / Executive [1]

The ideal candidate blends expert labor law compliance with sharp cost-control strategies to support aggressive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Specialized Talent Acquisition & Performance (Leasing Sector)
• Design and execute recruitment strategies targeting niche leasing talent, including Leasing Sales Executives, Credit Risk Analysts, Asset Inspectors, and Recovery Officers.
• Architect commission-based and incentive-driven compensation and benefits frameworks that motivate sales teams while protecting corporate margins.
• Oversee the Performance Management System (PMS), setting clear, measurable KPIs linked directly to lease volume generation, low non-performing loans (NPLs), and asset utilization.
• Cultivate a resilient, high-integrity corporate culture to mitigate risks of internal fraud or collusion in credit approvals. [2]
2. Facilities & Corporate Asset Management
• Manage daily office operations, utilities, and infrastructure across headquarters and regional lease-disbursement centers.
• Oversee the tracking, allocation, and maintenance of internal corporate assets (employee laptops, office furniture, corporate pool vehicles) distinct from leased customer assets.
• Optimize corporate space planning, ensuring physical security frameworks are in place for sensitive client financial documents and title deeds.
• Manage corporate travel, hospitality, and logistics for field-based asset inspectors and recovery teams.
3. Procurement, Vendor, & Administrative Budget Control [3]
• Govern the procurement of office consumables, printing technology (critical for high-volume lease documentation), and corporate utilities.
• Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with office vendors, private security firms, janitorial services, and IT infrastructure providers.
• Formulate and strictly monitor the annual Admin and HR operational budget (OPEX) to minimize administrative drag on the company's financial liquidity.
• Audit administrative expenses monthly, eliminating waste in fuel, printing, and office maintenance.
4. Regulatory Compliance, Industry Licensing, & Legal Risk
• Ensure strict corporate compliance with national labor laws, employment acts, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Partner with the Legal and Compliance team to maintain active corporate memberships and operational licenses with relevant leasing authorities (e.g., the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria - ELAN, or equivalent national bodies).
• Supervise the processing of statutory employee deductions, corporate insurances, and local municipal permits. [4, 5]
5. Training, Upskilling, & Change Management
• Identify structural skill gaps and organize continuous training on asset valuation, credit risk mitigation, and modern leasing software.
• Run mandatory, regular compliance and ethics workshops focusing on anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention.

• Certifications: Professional HR certification is mandatory (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-SCP, PHRi, or CIPD). Affiliation with a leasing or management institute is an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 8–10+ years of progressive HR and Admin experience, with at least 3 years within the financial services, microfinance, banking, or leasing sectors.
• Sector Knowledge: Strong familiarity with asset finance structures, credit-cycle operations, and the administrative workflows of leasing operations.
