Our clients are seeking a driven and strategic Sales & Marketing Strategist to lead merchant acquisition and growth efforts for the company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both field and digital sales and is passionate about converting leads into loyal, paying customers.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Identify, approach, and engage both physical (on-ground) and online merchants

• Visit business locations to introduce and pitch the company where necessary

• Contact and follow up on leads generated from campaigns and outreach

• Clearly communicate the company's value proposition and convert merchants into paying subscribers

• Handle objections and guide merchants through the decision-making process

• Maintain consistent daily outreach (calls, messages, in-person visits, demos)

• Track and manage leads across the sales pipeline

• Support merchant onboarding and ensure a smooth setup experience

• Drive early product usage by encouraging first transactions within 24–48 hours

• Gather merchant feedback and share insights during weekly team syncs

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve sales strategies and onboarding processes

• Take full ownership of sales targets and overall performance

• Maintain strong daily activity levels (calls, follow-ups, conversions)

• Communicate confidently and professionally with merchants

• Be highly results-driven, with a focus on conversions

• Stay organized and maintain accurate records of leads and progress

• Adapt quickly based on feedback and evolving strategies

• Proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions

• Attend and actively participate in all required meetings

• Consistently follow up with leads until a clear outcome is achieved

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of an HND.

• 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
