• We are seeking a Drilling Engineer / Specialist I to support the planning, design, execution, and surveillance of drilling and completion programs, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective well delivery while maintaining the highest standards of engineering integrity, safety, and environmental compliance.



Key Responsibilities



• Develop well plans by evaluating geological, reservoir, and offset well data.

• Design drilling and completion programs that meet technical and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare cost estimates, technical specifications, and equipment requirements.

• Evaluate technical bids for drilling goods and services.

• Monitor drilling operations and provide engineering support for critical activities.

• Support equipment testing, new procedures, and operational improvements.

• Collaborate with drilling, geology, reservoir, and project teams to achieve well objectives.

• Provide technical surveillance and engineering assessments throughout well execution.



Requirements



• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Experience in well planning and drilling operations within the oil and gas industry.

• Experience with well design software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Deepwater drilling experience and knowledge of subsea systems is an advantage where applicable.

• Strong analytical, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

• Excellent written and spoken English.
