Job Description
Universal Human Resource Consult is recruiting a Human Resource Manager (Spa: Health & Wellness) to lead the organization's people strategy and oversee the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will align HR initiatives with business goals, improve employee engagement, ensure legal compliance, and maintain staffing levels that support exceptional customer experiences within the spa and wellness industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Design workforce plans to support business growth and expansion.
• Advise management on organizational structure and manpower planning.
• Develop succession plans for key business positions.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Improve employer branding initiatives.
• Develop and manage comprehensive onboarding programs.
• Ensure new employees understand company policies, culture, and service standards.
• Conduct annual Training Needs Assessments (TNA).
• Develop and implement learning and development programs.
• Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
• Organize staff recognition and reward programmes.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation, compliance, and organizational development.
Requirements
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing HR functions, recruitment, employee relations, training, and organizational development.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.
