Job Description
An accountant responsible for managing financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions within a company or organization.

The duties include:

Keeping the company's financial records up to date. Ensuring that transactions are properly documented and filed (invoices, receipts, payments). Handling journals and ledgers.

Cash flow, income, and balance sheets are prepared, evaluating financial outcomes to make sure they adhere to accounting rules and creating regular reports for regulatory agencies, investors, and management.

Assisting in the development and oversight of budgets. Predicting business performance and financial trends. Offering financial information to aid in making decisions.

:Making sure the business abides by tax laws. Creating tax returns and making sure they are filed correctly. Dealing with tax officials and managing audits.

Overseeing payments to creditors, vendors, and suppliers; keeping an eye on unpaid bills and handling accounts receivable; and making certain that payment is collected at the appropriate time.

Examining expenses to pinpoint areas where money might be saved. Examining financial information to find anomalies or disparities, offering suggestions to reduce expenses or increase profitability.

Making sure that internal financial regulations and procedures are followed, getting ready for and assisting with external or internal audits and spotting and stopping financial mismanagement or fraud.

keeping an eye on daily cash flow and making sure there are enough money available, overseeing investment accounts, cash reserves, and bank accounts and ensuring the fulfillment of liquidity criteria.

Creating thorough financial reports for stakeholders or upper management. Offering financial performance analysis and insights and offering guidance on investment possibilities and financial tactics.

Making sure the business complies with rules and standards related to accounting (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and keeping abreast of modifications to financial policies and laws making certain that financial transactions are accurately recorded for legal reasons

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
