About the Role
This isn't a traditional digital marketing role.
We're looking for someone who will own growth across both our users and business community.
You'll connect our online and offline marketing efforts, build strategic partnerships, organize community activations, execute lifecycle marketing campaigns, and help turn businesses into paying customers.
Your mission is simple

You'll work closely with the founder, product team, and social media manager to build Nigeria's fastest-growing review platform.
What You'll DoUser Growth
• Plan and execute campaigns that drive app downloads and new user acquisition.
• Organize offline activations, community events, campus campaigns, and partnerships.
• Develop referral and ambassador programmes.
• Build relationships with creators and local communities.
User Engagement & Retention
• Manage email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
• Own push notifications and lifecycle marketing.
• Design campaigns that encourage users to return and write more reviews.
• Improve user activation and retention.
Business Growth
• Build partnerships with restaurants, SMEs, brands, universities, and communities.
• Help businesses claim their listings and adopt Maoni's business tools.
• Support monetization initiatives, premium offerings, and business subscriptions.
• Identify new partnership opportunities that generate revenue.
Marketing & Brand
• Coordinate online and offline marketing campaigns.
• Work with our Social Media Manager to ensure consistent campaign execution.
• Support product launches and feature campaigns.
• Represent Maoni at community events and industry activations.
Analytics & Growth
• Track campaign performance and optimize based on data.
• Measure acquisition, activation, retention, and referral performance.
• Continuously test new ideas and growth experiments.

Compensation
• ₦250,000–₦350,000/month (depending on experience)
• Performance-based monthly bonus
• Opportunity to grow into a leadership role as Maoni scales
