Job Description
As Sales Representative for Nigeria, you will be responsible for the specification and sales of Gerflor’s product ranges across key market sectors. You will report directly to the West Africa Export Manager and collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Assistance, and Credit.
Main Responsibilities :
• Achieve the sales budget for Nigeria,
• Analyze the market: competition, potential, key players,
• Recommend strategic actions based on market opportunities,
• Manage and support existing distributors,
• Identify and appoint new distributors,
• Promote Gerflor products to specifiers: architects, designers, health authorities, builders, etc,
• Sell to flooring contractors, general contractors, and end users,
• Train distributor sales teams and conduct joint visits,
• Implement the company’s pricing policy,
• Organize “Lunch & Learn” sessions with specifiers,
• Track key projects and update CRM tools,
• Participate in trade shows and roadshows,
• Provide market intelligence on competition, trends, and standards,
• Organize factory visits for customers,
• Handle customer complaints when needed.
