MANAGING DIRECTOR / HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Position Summary

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) shall provide strategic leadership for the Bank and be responsible for the overall management, profitability, growth, governance and regulatory compliance of the institution.

The successful candidate will lead the establishment, growth and long-term sustainability of the Bank while ensuring full compliance with the provisions of BOFIA, CBN Guidelines for Microfinance Banks, NDIC Regulations, AML/CFT requirements and all applicable laws.

The role reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

The MD shall:

Strategic Leadership
• Develop the Bank's strategic direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in:

Finance

Accounting

Economics

Banking

Business Administration

or related discipline.

MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Professional Certifications

At least one of:

ACIB

ACA

ACCA

ANAN

CFA

CISA (advantage)

CFE (advantage)

Experience

Minimum 12–15 years banking experience.

Minimum 7 years senior management experience.

Microfinance experience preferred.

Strong credit management experience.

Strong retail banking experience.

Digital banking exposure.

Board reporting experience.
